About Cortexis Group
Cortexis Group, LLC is a Florida limited liability company based in Miami, formed by practitioners with backgrounds in security consulting, executive protection, investigations, and operational intelligence. The firm provides advisory and intelligence services to corporate security teams, insurers, family offices, NGOs, and other risk-sensitive operators. AtlasRisks is our flagship subscription product — the same daily-scoring discipline we use internally, made available to other operators on a self-serve SaaS basis.
What we bring
Pre-arrival country intelligence
Field experience supporting principal travel into elevated-risk jurisdictions: pre-trip risk briefs, in-country posture changes, and the operational rhythm of an EP detail’s daily intel desk.
The morning-brief reality
We’ve sat the analyst seat. The GGRI Daily is built around the question every GSOC asks at 0500: what changed overnight and which of my countries did it touch?
Source discipline
Open-source intelligence requires source-reliability discipline. Our methodology treats state media, wire services, regional anchors, and IGO advisories as distinct source classes with documented reliability weights.
Operator-direct, not consultant-speak
We write for the operator on call at 0500, not for a procurement officer reading a deck. The product is built that way too: every score is attributable to specific events from specific sources.
A note on operational discretion
Many of our team’s prior engagements were under non-disclosure terms or in protective-detail capacities where naming the operator publicly carries its own risk. As a matter of policy, we do not publish individual operator identities on the open web. This is a deliberate operational choice, not an absence of identifiable people.
Governance and accountability
- Editorial independence. The GGRI methodology is documented openly at /methodology.html. Scoring changes are versioned and announced. No outside party — sponsor, advertiser, government, or otherwise — influences country scores.
- Methodology transparency. Every score decomposes to specific events from named sources with declared reliability weights. Customers can reproduce any score from the published data.
- Source diversity. 91 OSINT sources spanning wire services, government advisories, IGOs, NGOs, regional anchors across Africa / Asia / Latin America, economic indicators (IMF / Federal Reserve / ECB), and state-affiliated outlets (flagged for context).
- Accountability for errors. Material errors in scoring are corrected, logged in the public changelog, and where consequential, communicated to affected subscribers directly.
- Security and privacy posture. Documented at /help/security.html and /privacy.html. SOC 2 Type 1 readiness assessment is in progress; targeted attestation Q4 2026.
What we don’t do
We don’t make immigration, custody, or employment decisions, and we don’t produce sanctioned-jurisdiction-of-residence determinations — the GGRI is risk-assessment intelligence, not adjudication. We don’t take advertising. We don’t resell subscriber data. We don’t do anonymous-source scoops. We don’t make trading recommendations. The full boundary of acceptable use is documented at /disclaimer.html.
